OSC Research Symposium Presentation Portal

OSC has a mission to provide capable, accessible, reliable and secure computational services enhanced by training, consultation and research partnership. To facilitate this mission, OSC hosts the annual Research Symposium, where active participation from our community creates opportunities to collaborate and learn from one another.

We are looking for presenters to share their experiences utilizing research computing. If you are interested in sharing challenges, solutions, successes and outcomes at the Research Symposium, please create your account below.

We encourage participation from all demographics, including (but not limited to):

  • Students, researchers, clinicians, faculty and staff
  • Academic, non-profit and government institutions
  • Current OSC clients
  • People who do not utilize OSC resources

Topics can include anything related to computational science, including (but not limited to):

  • Domain-specific research project approaches and results
  • Usage details of OSC or non-OSC research computing resources
  • Research computing training, education or workforce development
  • Software development

Five- to 20-minute presentations (Brief Bytes), in-person or remote, may be submitted. OSC also is accepting poster presentations for an in-person poster session at the event. (Accepted posters can be printed in-house at OSC, if requested and poster file provided by April 1, 2025 - email OSC Help at oschelp@osc.edu for more information.)

Presentation submissions are due prior to 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent by Monday, March 17, 2025.

Every contribution to the OSC Research Symposium is a significant addition to the collective knowledge shared within our community. All presented research will be curated into a comprehensive set of published proceedings using DOI publishing software. This will ensure credibility and visibility among peers, institutions, and industry professionals, opening doors for networking and collaboration opportunities. Once you have submitted your contribution proposal, additional details will be provided later.

We are eager to have members of the research computing community contribute to the OSC Research Symposium. If you would like to present in a format not represented by the examples above, please start by filling out your presentation information and then email OSC Help at oschelp@osc.edu

To submit a presentation, please create a new account below.

Note: Once you have created an account, you may sign in to edit drafts, upload documents, etc. This account is active only for the 2025 OSC Research Symposium; all other OSC events and my.osc.edu accounts are separate from this portal.
